Training for Lineman from a Player's Perspective

Football Instruction America was started by two former offensive linemen who played in the Richmond area and at the college level. The purpose of Football Instruction America is to teach young football players how the game is played at a high level from a player's perspective. Our goal is to make every one of our clients the best that they can be, at their position.

Why we are the best

To be bigger, faster and stronger then one's opponent is a definite advantage. However, the proper execution of one's discipline gives a player a distinct edge as well. At FIA, we feel a distinct advantage goes to the player that executes the technical aspects of their position the best.

While there are other sports and football training opportunities, our instruction targeted to lineman is unique.

Why do linemen love our service?

From Basic to Advanced

"Wanted to let you know how pleased we are with FIA and the impact Derek's and Bryan's training has made in our son's performance.

Over the first few weeks, FIA's hands on, personal one on one training provided Caleb the key fundamentals critical to his success as an Offensive Lineman in a highly competitive highschool program.

Then as Caleb began to master the basics, Derek and Bryan added the more advanced skills, tactics and strategies to their weekly sessions.

The results have been great, Caleb's skills, physicality and level of confidence have improved significantly, and its entirely due to FIA's level of instruction and commitment to the athlete."

Forming Good Habits

"I believe you've hit on a really great idea to work closely with the kids as they are forming the habits they'll use in their games."

Janet, mother - West End

Never Enough Linemen

"One of the hardest things that you have to do, we find, in recruiting is making sure that you sign enough Linemen.

It’s always a situation where you never have enough Linemen."
